POPPy's 90th Birthday video
Hello Friends and Family,
We are updating poppy's 80th birthday video for his 90th. I need any pics anyone has from the last 10 years of dad (with others or just himself). I also would like to get video or audio messages from friends and family. Mom has already gathered some videos from a few friends. I need the following:
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Video Message:
Option 1: We have set up a YouTube channel where you can record a happy 60th birthday message. To do this please follow these steps:
Option 2: Record a video message on your phone and upload it to a Google Drive account and share the video with me at dwbroomfield@gmail.com so I can access it. Or, if the video is smaller than 20MB, email it to me at dwbroomfield@gmail.com. (Please do not text the video as videos sent via text typically get compressed and the quality suffers).
2. Audio Message: Call my cell at (408) 691-8117 and leave an audio message on my voice mail. Make sure you state on the message who you are. Then see next "Pictures" step to send a picture of yourself to accompany the audio message.
3. Pictures: For Poppy pictures (2008 to present), or a picture of you to accompany your audio message, please either email them to me at insert email address here, or text them to my cell at (408) 691-8117.
Remember to keep your video or audio message to a maximum of 30 seconds.
Submittal Deadline is End of the Day, Thursday, June 21.
Please call me at (408) 691-8117 if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for doing this for Poppy.
Best,
Doug

- Pictures of Dad (with or without others) that were taken between 2008 to present day (to be used in a video montage for his 80th decade).
- A short happy 90th birthday video message from you (up to 30 seconds). Or...
- A short happy 90th birthday audio message from you (up to 30 seconds), and a picture of you to accompany the audio message.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Video Message:
Option 1: We have set up a YouTube channel where you can record a happy 60th birthday message. To do this please follow these steps:
- Set your video resolution on your phone to 1920x1080 (1080p)/30 fps, or FHD (so we get good quality)
- Click the YouTube app on your phone.
- When the app opens and you are at YouTube, sign out and then sign back in using these credentials for the account we created:
- UN: poppyday@gmail.com
- PW: pbd1234!
- Set your camera to selfie mode and then tap on the YouTube camera icon and record your video message.
- Give the video a title and save it as "Private."
- Tap the "send" icon. The video will upload and then process.
- Wait until the video processes and you get the message "Ready to watch."
- Tap on the video to make sure it plays. Once it plays, you are done and can exit the YouTube app.
- If you are not happy with your recording, do another. However, note that you will not be able to delete any of your videos (we will use the last one uploaded).
Option 2: Record a video message on your phone and upload it to a Google Drive account and share the video with me at dwbroomfield@gmail.com so I can access it.
