Process
The production process is as important to us as the quality of the final video. Our entire team has extensive years' experience working with clients on video projects of all types and levels. In turn, we have developed a streamlined system from the initial consultation through final delivery that efficiently keeps the project on track while allowing for important client feedback and approvals at every stage of the process.

In turn, we have developed a streamlined system from the initial consultation through final delivery that efficiently keeps the project on track while allowing for important client feedback and approvals at every stage of the process.
Creative Brief/Consultation: The first stage of the process, where we listen to you. Clients fill out an online questionnaire that will be used to form a Creative Brief that we develop. The Creative Brief covers such elements as what it is you do, your target audience, how your product/service differentiates itself in the marketplace, key selling points, video objective, and more. We then conduct a consultation with you to review the Creative Brief and agree on direction for the project. Our attention to detail during this stage is thorough as we believe this is the most important part of the entire process, laying the foundation that the rest of the production is built upon.
|
Script: During the script stage we will provide our clients with three concepts/treatments to choose from. Once the treatment is chosen our scriptwriters will develop the narrative, visual style and scene descriptions for the video. This is where the rubber meets the road. The storyline is paramount to a successful project and the most important element in keeping your audience engaged. As professional storytellers we rely on our vast experience and work hard to deliver a unique script that delivers for our clients.
|
Storyboard: Next we create a storyboard based on the approved script and visual concepts. This includes rough character and environment designs where each major scene is depicted in a visual format, composed of key frames that will appear in the final video. During the storyboard approval process we will also provide a number of voice-over artists for you to choose from. This is your brand's voice, and an element that we want you to participate in selecting. Once the storyboard and voice over artists have been approved, we move to the animation and final production stage of the process.
|
Animation: This is where the magic happens. The stage where it all comes together. Final illustrations and designs for the video based on the approved storyboard are created, animated, then edited together with music, sound effects, and narration. Our producers makes sure that your video meets the objectives outlined in the Creative Brief and stays true to the approved script and storyboard throughout the iterative process. We then send you the finished video, with all its elements, for your review and approval.
|
Delivery: Once everything meets client requirements we encode the video in high-quality 1080p and deliver the final video to you in the format of your choice, ready for uploading to your favorite video sites, social media sites, and of course your own website, primed for your audience to view. If at this stage you need some additional support to ensure that your video gets uploaded and deployed properly, we can help with that as well. We also understand the importance of video analytics and stats to help our clients measure the ROI of their videos. We can help with that too, including marketing automation integration.

Timing
Your character animation video can take as little as five weeks to produce. This assumes a total running time of no more than 90 seconds, timely feedback and an average of one revision per stage. If the video is longer and/or client feedback and approvals take more time than planned while exhausting all allowed revisions, delivery is typically eight weeks. Note that if you need a video completed in as little as two weeks’ time, we can accommodate you for an expedited charge. Click here to view a sample of our web-based project schedule.
